First Day of Soccer Practice

Soccer!!! YAY! I played soccer all through high school and loved it. I am so happy that Jackson and Joshua wanted to play this fall. This is their first time and they both really had a good time!!

Fall Fun

It's been a very busy fall!  School, soccer, family stuff, church, etc.  Fall is my favorite season and it's been beautiful this year.  Our backyard has a really big tree, which made for a huge leaf pile when the leaves started falling.  The boys loved playing in the leaves!

I'm a blessed girl to be living with four such handsome guys!!

J-man's birthday party!

I can't believe my baby is six! I guess I can't technically call him a baby anymore, but to me, he'll always be my baby! I'm so proud of this little guy. He's got such a sweet nature to him, he's kind, helpful, a bit on the quiet/shy side at first, but once he opens up, he's got quite an awesome personality! I'm so thankful I get to be his mom!!

His big present from us was a new bike! Jackson had learned how to ride a two-wheeler earlier this summer and it was time to upgrade to a "real" bike! This one is pretty cool and Jackson asks to go riding almost every day!

His birthday party was really fun! He wanted to have a Mario Kart theme, so we worked around that. The treats were fun to make (and eat!!)

Bedtime comment

I had to write this down so I can remember it forever! I was saying good night to our three kiddos (they're all sleeping in Jackson's room tonight) and doing bedtime hugs. I was walking out of the room and said I was so happy to be their mom and that I loved them. Jackson responds with, "I'm so glad to be one of your sons! I love you, too, Mom!" I love that kid! What a sweet way to end a great day! Love all my boys and I am thrilled to be their mom!

SIX!!

Jackson had a great birthday! He loved celebrating at school with friends. It's sweet how excited they get about a pencil and a birthday crown! I love little kids' innocence! Okay, more later!

What a week!

As mentioned, this was going to be a busy week!! I started teaching 5th grade, which is good, but very overwhelming and busy! The boys started a new year in school. Jonathan is in pre-school and is loving it! Joshua started pre-K and has done a great job---although he does not like having to practice writing his name! Jackson had the biggest change, as he started kindergarten and having to ride the bus. He likes it though!

Another school year

This week is going to be a busy one! I am starting my first year of teaching 5th grade. Jackson starts kindergarten, Joshua starts Pre-K, and Jonathan will start Pre-School! A week of firsts at our house!! Say a prayer for us that all will have smooth transitions and we'll be able to get through it!!

Another first trip to the dentist

Jonathan had his first visit to the dentist a few weeks ago. He did a fantastic job!! The lady was so great with him---explained everything, let him hold "Mr. Thirsty" and made a glove balloon. It was very sweet!

Could these boys be any cuter?! Love them!! All three boys had back-to-back-to-back visits that afternoon, which had some pretty crazy moments, but in the end, all three had clean teeth and no cavities!!

TEN YEARS!

My handsome hubby and I celebrated our 10th anniversary last week! Has it really been 10 years already?! WOW! Time flies when you're having fun! My mom came to watch our boys and we were able to get away overnight. We went back to the hotel where we stayed our first night as husband and wife. It was wonderful to have time to ourselves, but we missed the boys! My sweet husband got me these flowers, which have my favorite flowers, gerbera daisies and lilies!! I love you, my sweet love!! Thanks for an amazing 10 years, three wonderful boys, and most importantly, loving me always, no matter what!
