# 300

This is my 300th entry on this blog!  :)  I could mention how tired I am these days, or how busy our lives are, or how there are too many flies in the house, or how the laundry never seems to end, or..., but I won't!  I'll just say that we had a great weekend as a family and got to do our annual event of apple picking.  Fall is by far my favorite season---jeans, sweatshirts, leaves, football, boots, perfect crisp chilly air perfect for snuggling!!  Because of the early spring and drought conditions this summer, today was the last day of apple picking.  We did not know that, but we were so thankful that we went after Jackson's baseball game because we wouldn't have had another chance.  The trees were pretty picked over, but we were able to fill our five bags with delicious varieties of apples.

Game ball

Jackson's having a great first baseball season!  He is learning so much and making great strides!  His hitting is really good these days and he is still working on his fielding.  Yesterday was his best game of the season!!  He got an out at first base and had several awesome hits!!  He was so happy!  To top it all off, he was awarded the game ball at the end of the game!  And, it was also the team's trip to get ice cream after the game.  Our little man was pretty thrilled yesterday!!

Yep, it really has your name on it!!
So proud of you, Jackson!!  Way to go on the game ball!!
