Father's Day 2011

Our boys love their daddy! They adore him. They wrestle with him. They read books with him. They play with him. They watch cartoons with him. They pray with him. He is a very special daddy and our boys are so blessed to have him!!! This guy---awesome daddy and husband!!

We had a pretty good weekend together, celebrating AW! We had a great dinner Friday night after we picked him up from the train station. On Saturday, we played at the park for a long time and then had a picnic Chipotle dinner. It was really nice!

On Sunday, we went to my dad's church to surprise him (although he already knew we were coming) and then we all came to our house for lunch and hanging out. It was nice to spend time together.

This was AW's first Father's Day since his dad passed away last year, so I knew it would be a tough day for him, but he was wonderful! I know he had some sad moments--he really misses his dad! Allen was a great Godly man!

Ahhhhh, summer!!

It's here! Finally here!! Summer vacation, how I have waited for you for so long! I thought you might never get here. But, here we are at last!! I am so happy to have this summer with these guys.

First Lost Tooth

Jackson lost his first tooth a few weeks ago. It was wiggly for a long time and he ended up losing it at school---during lunch. He actually swallowed it and didn't realize it until he went to wiggle it later that afternoon and it wasn't there! He was worried the Tooth Fairy wouldn't leave him any money since there was no tooth, but he drew a picture of his tooth and there was a dollar under his pillow when he woke up! :)

He's four!!

Joshua turned FOUR this week and we celebrated with family an friends yesterday! It was a fun time! Joshua chose a Lego theme that was lots of fun to work with!


Happy 4th Birthday, sweet boy! We love you so much! Glad you had a fun birthday!!

Mother's Day Tea

Jackson's kindergarten class had a Mother's Day Tea last week that was so sweet! The kids started out by singing "You Are My Sunshine!" My guy doesn't like singing in front of people, so he did a solo for me at bedtime that melted my heart!!

We are so blessed by all the good friends Jackson has made this year at his school!!

Mother's Day 2011

I became a mom almost 6 years ago. What a wonderful ride it has been! My three little monkeys keep me on my toes daily! They have taught me maybe more than I have taught them. We laugh, we cry, we love, we snuggle, we fight, we care, play, we run, we learn...we are a family and I am so blessed by the men in my life! They make my life as a mom so meaningful and so wonderful! I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the world!!! What a blessing to be entrusted with the care and growing up of children!!

Easter egg hunt at church

Our church has a HUGE Easter egg hunt----the brochure said 16,000 eggs! We just had to go yesterday and check it out! The eggs were laying all over the floor in the classrooms--very easy to find. Each kid was given clues with how many eggs they were allowed to find in each room and a specific color to look for! Very easy hunt and really fun!
