Jonathan's 1st haircut

Jonathan's long, curly locks are no more! Our littlest one now looks like a little boy!! So stinkin' cute!!
Jonathan's long, curly hair! Beautiful!
Jonathan was not a big fan of the scissors at first!!
He settled down just a bit by the end of the haircut.

All done! Looking good, Jonathan!

Time to Exercise!

I tried to teach our boys how to do jumping jacks yesterday!! Check out the video! It's so cute! Way to go, boys!!

February Snow!

Our boys love the snow!! (what kid doesn't??) We spent some time in the falling snow earlier this week and loved it! The snowflakes were big and fluffy and so pretty! Not that the boys cared about the beauty of the flakes---they were thrilled to be outside playing in the snow!

My boys!

I love my boys unconditionally! They are sweet, funny, playful, crazy at times, thoughtful, loving, and so much more! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks!

Jonathan's messy yogurt face!! He loves feeding himself!

Reading with Daddy before bed is great!

Brush 'em! Brush 'em! Brush 'em!

Jonathan's silly mohawk hair!

Jackson is so proud of the Lego bulldozer he built!

All three boys love watching Daddy play games on his phone.

Jonathan loves his toothbrush!

All snuggled up to watch cartoons!

Not much!

So, my husband keeps checking our blog and has been looking for updates, but there haven't been any, because I'm not sure what to say! We're still here, doing the same thing, trusting God to lead us with the big stuff, and the little stuff, and the stuff in between! :) Our boys are fantastic!! I'm as stressed and anxious as ever! My husband is as grounded and sweet as ever, totally balances me and I really appreciate that about him!

So, my brother's wedding is coming up in just a few short months---crazy! Which means I have just a few short months to get back into a black dress that I absolutely love!! Not sure it's going to happen, not sure it CAN happen after three kids, but I'm going to try! Check back for updates on my get-back-in-shape progress!! It will be good for me to have some accountability! :)

See, told you, not much! :)

Everybody gets a turn!

At our house when someone does something or tries something new, everyone has to try it also! (Although it doesn't work for vegetables!!) When AW was painting the hallway upstairs, each of the boys had to have a turn painting with Daddy! I am blessed to have a husband with the patience of a saint! Great job painting, boys!! Looks great!

Family Camp-out...

was more like a camp-in, but it was so much fun!! We set up the tent in our loft early last Saturday morning and the boys played in it all day. Our boys love flashlights and making shadows and shining it in dark rooms and exploring! At bedtime, we read stories (by flashlight) in the tent and then tried to fall asleep! It took quite a while because the boys were so excited, but eventually everyone was asleep. Jonathan slept in the crib, but the big boys were in the tent, for most of the night! I think when they get older they will really enjoy camping for real!!

Seeing Grandpa

Yesterday was Grandpa's birthday. We went to the hospital to celebrate with him, cupcakes and small gift in hand. This was the first time the boys had seen Grandpa since he got sick and was admitted to the hospital in early November. The boys did great! Only took a few minutes to warm up to him and get used to seeing him with a breathing tube. We sang Happy Birthday, ate some cupcakes, hung out for a short while and then let Grandpa get back to resting. Grandpa has been breathing on his own for several days, but he's super worn out! We're praying he regains his strength and continues to get better!! He's got three grandsons waiting to play Legos and make some paper airplanes! We love you Grandpa! Get better quickly! Happy Birthday!

A new addition to our family!

Nope, we're not pregnant!! (Did you really think we were?? That would be crazy!!) My youngest brother is getting married and so our family will be gaining a new daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, or aunt! Samuel and Valerie got engaged right before Christmas and getting married in August! We love Valerie--she's sweet, funny, plays with our boys really cute, and most of all, loves my brother! (Hey, Valerie, remember that time you tried to open a bag of salad?!? Good times, good times!)

New Year, New Tricks

Look who's now a full-fledged walker! No more crawling for our little guy. He's been walking for a while now---I'm just a bit slow to post this!

And one more cute one!
